If you purchased the calculator this year, you can try TI directly as they have been sending replacements in most cases. Their part number is XXBT/KT/B and you can reach them at 800-TI-CARES (800-842-2737). You’ll need the manufacture date, which is etched into the back of the calculator (month and year, at the end of the serial number).

TI-Nspire™ Rechargeable Battery without wires
Battery Type: Lithium Ion

Compatible with: TI-Nspire & TI-Nspire CAS handhelds if manufactured after May 1 2014. This battery is a drop-in style that does not require a wire connection.

Time to charge:
•Maximum of 6 hours with USB connected to computer
•Maximum of 6 hours with wall charger (sold separately)

Ways to Charge:
•Using the wall charger/adapter
•Using the USB cable included in the TI-Nspire handheld packaging

Note:  The TI-Nspire Rechargeable Battery should be charged while installed in the handheld.
